Mrs. James
Brayden
woke up this morning SUPER excited to start 2nd grade. He was up early,
ate breakfast, was dressed, and fixed his hair all with time to spare. Brayden even took the initiative and made his
OWN lunch while ensuring he has his water bottle ready to go as well.
I
feel that with all of Brayden’s enthusiasm shown this morning, he is going to
have a successful year! Academy Charter
is an extremely academically rigorous school so this will absolutely be a
challenging year for him as he continues through his academic endeavors. However, Brayden is so smart and when he puts
his mind to something the sky is the limit.
Lacrosse
starts back up next week with practices on Tuesdays and games on Sundays. This will also be challenging for Brayden, as
he will have to learn time management skills with juggling sports and academic priorities. He has excelled at Lacrosse in unimaginable
ways, which is great for him given his level of energy and athleticism. We found a coach who we have managed to
follow throughout the year while keeping most of the same players as well.
Overall,
we are blessed in our lives to have such great people, great opportunities, and
great ambitions that help drive our successes. As I like to say, “Where there
is a will there is a way!”
